Recruitment process
- DEFINITION OF JOB PROFILE: Depending on the need, directives U-HOME will define a profile with the necessary skills for the job.
- RECRUITMENT: For the recruitment U-HOME use databases, voice to voice, craigslist’s, other intermediary companies and mainly because of strategic associations with universities our doors will open to practitioners and recent graduates.
- REVIEW OF CURRICULUMS: Detailed curriculum reviews will be made in order to make a call to interview the profiles that best fit the job.
- CALL FOR CANDIDATES: A call it will be held with the candidates for the interview.
- INTERVIEW: Interviews in U-HOME will be ‘Multiple types’, the person will be interviewed simultaneously by several interviewers.
- REVIEW OF CURRICULUMS AND ANSWERS: A thorough review of the curriculum will be done again, but this time with the answers of the candidates in order to assess taken into account.
- LABOR RESEARCH: In U-HOME we do four types of research for people who have been the best candidates for the position, these investigations are: Research of work history, criminal background, Research letters of recommendation, Research at home.
- SELECTION: After performing in correct order the above processes, the candidate who best meets the requirements and will call for the following process was selected.
- MEDICAL EXAM: It is of basic importance in U-HOME; know the state of health of our employees, to the extent of reaching influence the quality of our service and to likewise reduce absenteeism and punctuality.

Social Security
In Colombia and for U-HOME contracts other than for services rendered comprehensive social security consists of three elements: Health, Pension and Professional Risks.
U-HOME employees from joining both the health system and the pension and occupational hazards. Health is managed by the EPS. The pension is managed by the pension funds. Occupational hazards are managed by the ARP. The corresponding distributions are made in the following manner in the country:
- The health levy is 12.5 distributed as follows: 4% provides the employee and 8.5% employer contributes.
- The pension contribution is 16% distributed as follows: 4% brings the worker and the employer contributes 12%.
- The contribution to occupational hazards risk varies by each worker is exposed, and in its entirety is provided by the employer. The contributions vary between 0.348% for the risk level I and 8.7% for level V risk.
U-Home selects the EPS and the pension fund where you want to enroll. The employer chooses the ARP where you want to register their workers. (U-HOME is adapted to social security always on the legal margin, and each country where the company is in operation)
